Get Involved at CIU
There are many ways for alumni to get involved, whether through attending events, volunteering, mentoring, or supporting CIU financially.
Alumni of the Year
Larry Dabeck (’89/’98)
As an ordained minister, Col. Larry Dabeck has invested his life as a chaplain in the U.S. Army while stationed in the United States, South Africa, Congo, Iraq and Afghanistan. His heart for wounded and dying soldiers earned him the army’s Bronze Star, and he has led marriage retreats for military couples and served as an armored brigade combat team command chaplain, assisting 5,000 soldiers.
